The condition of our society gives us many reasons to be troubled. Some say that we need more government action. More rules. More programs. However, we also seem to have exhausted our reach and what has it done for us. Things are just as troubling and debt levels are blowing up and inflation is almost out of control. A wise person can see that there are limits. However, business hasn’t fully delivered for us either. Yes, business provides jobs and are essential for any community. It is easy to see that we are tearing ourselves apart. We to do something different.

Sixteen years ago, a half-dozen guys from different Madison churches got together to launch a local Christian community internet portal, a one-stop site to serve the Madison community. It was called allgodspeople.com and it provided a church list, an events calendar, business connections, and news stories about faith events that were ignored by other media.
Thy Kingdom Come...
Jesus talked a lot about the Kingdom of God. It's a central theme of his teaching before his death and after his resurrection. In one of his first sermons he said, "Repent, the Kingdom of God is at hand." He compared it to a mustard seed, a bit of yeast, a pearl of great value, and a lost coin.

On September 15 the Madison Christian Giving Fund hosted an event called “Reigniting a Movement of Generosity” at Upper House on the East Campus Mall. The highlight of the morning was the testimonies of 21 Partners of the FUND. Each one shared who they were, the service they provided, and the importance of the support of the Madison Christian Giving Fund.

What is Going On?
